SHANNON GOERTZ

Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer

Shannon is the Managing Partner and CEO of Streamline Tax Solutions, L.P. With over 17 years of multi-state tax consulting experience, Shannon has personally counseled members of the FICPA and the Department of Revenue in Florida in their attempts to mirror the Texas Managed Audit program. Since June 1998, Streamline has provided clients with an array of consulting services in almost every area of state and local taxation; specifically sales and use, mixed beverage and franchise tax. Under Shannon’s direction, Streamline has helped many clients recover millions in tax overpayments.

Shannon received his B.F.A. degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. He also attended the Wharton School of Business and the University Of Amherst School Of Management at Massachusetts.

BETTY MONTGOMERY

Senior Tax Consultant

As a Sr. Tax Consultant in the Audit Defense Division at Streamline Tax Solutions, Betty provides Streamline clients with an array of consulting services and represents clients before the Texas Comptroller on state tax matters, including audits and administrative hearings.Betty has worked with over 400 clients in her tenure with Streamline ensuring they receive the best possible outcome for their sales and use tax audit.

Betty has over 30 years’ experience in the accounting field. Prior to joining Streamline in 2006, she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and her MBA from the University of LaVerne in California. Betty gained extensive multi-state tax experience working for large corporations such as Boeing, Con-Agra and ITT Industries in Southern California where she represented them in sales and use tax audits.

Dennis E. Krug, CPA

Director – Sales & Use Tax

Dennis Krug brings to Streamline over 17 years of indirect tax consulting and audit representation experience which has enabled businesses to reclaim millions in overpaid tax dollars. Dennis has personally worked on hundreds of audits in various states, including self-audit programs, overpayment reviews and litigation through the administrative hearings appeal process. His clients range from Fortune 500 companies to sole proprietors who have sought him out for his debate, presentation, and meticulous work ethics.

Prior to rejoining Streamline, Dennis was the Director of Operations for another firm where he managed the staff responsible for more than 75 ongoing audit appeals.

Mr. Krug is a licensed CPA and Texas state tax law expert that received his accounting degree from Sam Houston State University. An accomplished and sought after tax consultant, he says that his objective in almost every engagement is “bridging the gap between numbers and common sense”.
